We can't keep meeting this way

In the private sector in Denmark 1.500.000 meetings are held. Every. Single. Day. (Børsen 2013)

Fact is, that far from all of them add the value, we should expect.

“Sometimes it feels like I live my life in meetings”
(Employee in private sector)

“I always plan for a few hours to reload my energy after a meeting”
(Leader in public sector)

“We do strategies for all kinds of things – but never for meetings”
(Leader in NGO)

“I hate it when we leave the meeting and feel like a failure”
(Employee in public sector)

“You always know exactly when we’ve hit that point where all looks turn completely empty. But we still continue”
(Employee in public sector)

These are just a few of many quotes that highlight the need for optimizing how we meet today: long and unstructured discussions, unclear decisions, lack of preparation, pseudo agendas, expectations that fails to be met over and over again.

But meetings are such an integrated part of our work culture that it can be difficult to know where to start, if we want to change them. The solution is more complex than to just eliminate or reduce them.

What we have set out to do with Meet Better is to help you move forward towards a reality where meetings actually fulfil the need, they were ment to: adding value.

“You always know exactly when we’ve hit that point where all looks turn completely empty. But we still continue”
